Play video games, or online games. Something that requires your attention. Even if you think you don’t have it in you, try anyway. The concentration may really help you. Some online games you can try:
Draw. And I mean it, too. With something messy, like charcoal or crayons. Or paint! Whatever your medium, if you can, scribble your heart out. It’s an amazing grounding technique. The sensory experience of the materials will remind you that the world is real and solid, and your manipulation of those materials will remind you that you are part of it, and you are capable of doing things, big and small.
